“Technology for honouring fallen heroes” – communication campaign

GlobalLogic

down

The Field of Honorary Burials is a place of great significance for all Ukrainians. Sadly, it expands everyday. This makes it harder for people who come to pay their respects to fallen heroes to navigate the cemetery.
The goal of the GlobalLogic’s team was to create a solution that would help visitors navigate the cemetery. So, GlobalLogic developed a digital navigation system that operates on the “Lychakiv Cemetery Museum” information centre’s base. This system allows visitors to find the final resting place of every Hero, map out a route, and access a dedicated digital archive.
The agency task:To provide media support for the launch of the navigation system. It was crucial to avoid a cold, corporate delivery, opting instead for a human approach to communication, given how important this topic is for every Ukrainian.

Tools: Together with the GlobalLogic team, we implemented a multi-channel approach to this press release.
● Prepared and distributed a press release about the launch of the navigation system.● Organized collaborations with bloggers: after the launch, the GlobalLogic team created a joint video with Yuriy Tsybukh, the brother of paramedic and Hero of Ukraine, Iryna Tsybukh. The video highlights the importance of honouring the memory and how technology can help with that. We reached out to opinion leaders for support – and it worked. The video was shared by media and influencers on their social networks, including singer and bandurist Maryna Krut, TV host and director of the "Wild Theatre" Yaroslava Kravchenko, the support network for veterans and their families Veteran Hub, the Human Rights Centre ZMINA, and others.● Provided consistent mentions in following newsbreaks: specifically, regarding the visit of the company’s C-level executives to Lviv.
